Ha! Tricked you! It's not a flower today, but it's a "bloom". :) Oh, silly, silly! This lovely little charm gave me a happy memory. When my parents lived in Honduras, my Mom had a little plaque, hanging in the bathroom, that simply said, "Bloom where you are planted". Five little words with a world of meaning. Sometimes we don't like where we've been planted. Sometimes it's hot and dry, or painful, or lonely, or there just seems to be too much stinking rain! But we can make the best of our "planting", our situation, until we can move on or learn what we are supposed to learn, or be a blessing or help to someone else...We can "Bloom" in all kinds of places, in all kinds of ways, whether it's just a smile on your face, or a word of comfort, or some beautiful art, that helps you and others...Make someone's day just a little more beautiful and in doing so, it will make your own day better too...Bloom where you are planted...
